Repairs & Upgrades Manager
Salary up to £45,000 pa depending on experience
As part of our strategy to grow our Aftermarket Business we have a fantastic opportunity for a Repairs & Upgrades Manager. The purpose of this role is to drive the growth of our Repairs and Engineered Solutions functions and significantly improve the level of customer satisfaction we provide. This role will sit alongside and complement our existing teams in Technical Support, Project Management, Operations and Sales.
This position gives the opportunity for someone to grow their career in parallel to the Business and is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in terms of business development, sales and, building business capability. Personal development will be provided to support the successful candidate within the role.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
This role is responsible for the growth and delivery of Repairs and Engineered Solutions.
To increase and create a predictable repairs and engineered solutions revenue stream through business development and sales initiatives.
The improvement of lead times, customer satisfaction and financial margin of repairs and engineered solutions through continued process improvements.
Project management of allocated repairs and engineered solutions to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
To improve and develop our global capability to provide Repairs and Engineered Solutions.
Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications
You need to be highly responsive with a customer focused attitude and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Previous experience of repairs and upgrades of rotating equipment preferred but will consider similar experience gained on other types of bespoke engineered products.
Minimum HNC in an Engineering subject or equivalent qualification / experience.
An aptitude for sales and business development.
Excellent negotiator with strong commercial acumen and taking balanced commercial risks where appropriate.
This role will be based at our Peterborough facility with a requirement for approximately 20% to 30% travel in the UK and overseas.
