UK CHP Package Design & Engine Selection
As an independent CHP package provider, Grupel will select the best engine to suit your requirements.
Full system design, engine selection and package design is carried out by Grupel with support and input from Peter Brotherhood to combine our knowledge and engineering expertise.
Control systems are designed by Grupel to suit your requirements and importantly we use an open protocol so you are not restricted by your control system in the future.
Peter Brotherhood will support you with the site layout and ensuring the optimum layout and physical sizing of the CHP unit(s) for your site.
CHP Assembly & Test
Grupel assemble the units within their state of the art factory in Portugal.
All CHP Units are fully factory tested on natural gas by Grupel prior to dispatch. Customer witnessing of the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) is always welcome and Grupel are proud to show customers their excellent facility and products.
We also supply standard or customised engine exhaust systems, storage tanks and all associated ancillary equipment.
Site Installation & Commissioning
When the time comes to start on site our team of experienced field service engineers are able to coordinate and conduct activities. This includes the inspection of the foundations, installation, commissioning, SAT (Site Acceptance Test) and hand-over of the CHP units.
We provide remote condition monitoring to support the commissioning process and as a key element to provide through life support for our customers.
Training courses can be provided for our customer’s staff to arm them with the knowledge they need to safely operate their new CHP unit.
Project Management
World-class project management starts from the moment we engage with you on the project your new CHP unit. Our team provides the seamless coordination of all aspects of the package to alleviate the pressure from your own team so they can focus on more essential matters. We integrate the design of the package, the performance requirements, the schedule and keep you fully informed throughout.
